Why do you need this?
Your bed is prone to splitting and causing unwanted gaps between the bed and tail gate. In some cases the gaps become so large that tailgates will no longer latch correctly and are prone to falling on the trail. Our bed brace drastically improves the rigidity of your bed, prevents any further damage, and most importantly your bed can still be easily loaded and unloaded for when you plan to use it as a truck.

Additional backing plate: this additional option will include a 1/4” thick x 15” long flat sheet of steel. This plate will be installed from the inside of the bed and will help pull in the bed. This is only necessary if your bed has already split and has drastic bed spread.
